Civil Wedding Ceremony
Riverbank Suite
Civil Wedding Ceremonies in the Riverbank Suite are available any day of the week and can accommodate a maximum of 90 guests. A room hire charge of £300 applies
The Sundeck
Civil Wedding Ceremonies in the Sundeck are available Monday to Saturday inclusive and can accommodate a maximum of 22 guests. A room hire charge of £150 applies
The Sheldrake Suite
Civil Wedding Ceremonies in the Sheldrake Suite are available any day of the week between 12pm and 2pm and can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests. A room hire charge of £100 applies

Riverbank Suite
Wedding receptions in the Riverbank Suite are available any day of the week and can accommodate a max of 90 guests
Harbourside Restaurant
Wedding receptions in the Harbourside Restaurant are available Monday to Saturday inclusive and can accommodate a maximum of 48 guests. The Harbourside Restaurant is available up until 5.30pm
The Sundeck
Wedding receptions in the Sundeck are available Monday to Saturday inclusive and can accommodate a maximum of 16 guests. The Sundeck is available up until 5.30pm
The room hire charge for all suites is included in the price of your menu per head (a minimum spend of £25 per person applies or a room hire fee may be applicable)
If you wish to hold your wedding ceremony with us please note that it is, by law, non-religious. You will be required to contact the registrar yourself, by calling the Registration Information Service on 0300 1234 181
Evening Reception
The Riverbank Suite is available for evening receptions any day of the week and can accommodate a maximum of 130 guests. A room hire charge of £175 applies if one of our buffet menus is taken or a charge of £300 applies of no buffet is required. This room hire tariff applies for use of the room any time from 7.00pm onwards until midnight. In consideration of our other guests all entertainment will be required to finish at midnight

Etiquette
The Hotel reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of music and behaviour of the client, guest or representatives and the client must take all steps necessary for correct action.
In the event of failure to comply with management request, the Hotel reserves the right to terminate the contract or stop any event without being liable for any refund or compensation. The client agrees to pay the Hotel for any food, beverage or other services not provided for in this contract but made available upon request of the client

Numbers
The final number of guests attending must be notified in writing a month prior to the wedding. This will be the minimum number of guests charged for or greater if the numbers increase

Accommodation
Our wedding Package includes an Executive Double Bedded Harbour View Room for the night of the wedding on a complimentary basis (based on a minimum spend). Upgrades are available to either a Deluxe Room or Sheldrake Suite for a supplement of £80 and £160 respectively.
Any guests associated with the wedding will be entitled to the following discounts:-
15% discount during Low Season (October - end of April)
10% discount during High Season (May - end of September)
Any additional nights surrounding the wedding date will be entitled to a 25% discount throughout the year.
For guests to be eligible for the above discounts they must confirm their booking with a deposit a minimum of 3 months prior to the wedding date.

Booking and Deposit
When a provisional booking is made this should be confirmed in writing within two weeks. A booking becomes confirmed on receipt of your letter of confirmation and a non-refundable deposit of £300 for the Sundeck or £600 for the Riverbank Suite. Please note that upon receipt of your deposit you agree to adhere to our terms and conditions.

Payment
1 month prior to the event final details will be required, at which time a pro-forma invoice for the balance of account will be issued to be settled within 14 days.
Failure to meet payment on due dates will incur an interest charge on a daily basis being charged for every day over the contracted due date.

Cancellations
If in the event of a cancellation of the above booking 6 months or more before the date required, The Greenbank Hotel will retain the initial deposit.
In the event of a confirmed booking being cancelled within 6 months of the date required the Greenbank Hotel will not only retain the initial deposit paid but will also be entitled to charge and invoice the client an additional sum amounting to the balance of 50% of the estimated total by way of liquidated damages for breach of contract.
In the event of a confirmed booking being cancelled within 1 month of the date required the Greenbank Hotel will be entitled to retain the full balance of account for the event.
All cancellations must be made in writing and it is strongly advised that a cancellation insurance is put in place through a third party.
