Whether it’s a classic wedding breakfast or something more casual, The Greenbank’s knowledgeable team is here for you and your guests.

From raising a toast, to a little tipple to help you dance the night away, we can help tailor your choice of drinks to complement your food menu. There will be something to quench everybody’s thirst – be it our hand-picked wine list, artisan spirits selection, or extensive range of Cornish ales and craft beers. Our expert bar team is always on hand to mix or shake your perfect cocktails.

Our experience suggests that a combination of flavours work well, leading to several award-winning menus to choose from. Naturally, our Head Chef Nick and his talented team can create a bespoke alternative of your favourite dishes – just let us know. Canapés, finger buffet and fork buffet menus are also available.

‘LOVE KNOT’ EXAMPLE MENU:

Roasted vine tomato and basil soup
Mackerel rillette and pate, pea shoots, dijon mayonnaise, melba toast
Chicken liver and forest mushroom pate, red onion marmalade, crisp breads
Crayfish and prawns as a traditional cocktail, iceberg lettuce, Bloody Mary mayonnaise

Roast sirloin of Cornish beef, Yorkshire pudding, duck fat roasted potatoes, pan gravy
Roast breast of Cornish chicken, fondant potato, baby onions and pancetta, Madeira jus
Pan seared fillet of Scottish salmon, chive potato cake, watercress crème fraiche
Butternut and pecan strudel, spinach and forest mushrooms, rocket and pesto

Mango cheesecake, toasted coconut, coriander
Eton Mess, seasonal berries, meringue and Chantilly cream

‘HITCH KNOT’ EXAMPLE MENU:

Butternut squash, parmesan and truffled leek soup
Salmon and crab – beetroot cured gravadlax, crab ‘bon bon’, citrus mayonnaise, lightly pickled cucumber
Carpaccio of aged fillet beef, truffles, horseradish, sorrel

Roast sirloin of Cornish beef, Yorkshire pudding, chateau potatoes, horseradish infused jus, seasonal vegetables
Confit leg of Cornish duck, cassoulet of flageolet beans, seasonal vegetables
Pan fried fillet of day-boat seabass, artichoke crushed Cornish news, crayfish butter sauce, seasonal vegetables

Bakewell tart, clotted cream, raspberry sorbet
Glazed lemon tart, seasonal berries, meringues and amaretti

‘DIAMOND KNOT’ EXAMPLE MENU:

Kir Royale for the reception / Two glasses of red, white or rose wine at wedding breakfast / Glass of sparkling wine for the toast

Cornish crab – beetroot cured gravadlax, crab ‘bon bon’, citrus mayonnaise, lightly pickled cucumber
Mosiac of confit duck, smoked breast, hazlenut vierge, mustard frills

Fillet of Cornish beef, fondant potato, orange and pancetta, selection of seasonal vegetables
Pan seared halibut, mussels, sea vegetables

Dessert trio (a small selection of what we do best) – brownie, lemon posset, pineapple tatin
