Nick, born in Falmouth, has been cooking since an early age. Having worked with legendary chefs and personalities such as Keith Floyd and Jean Christophe Novelli, he returned to his home town after time working and travelling around the world.
In 2014, he joined The Greenbank as Head Chef, refocusing the menu to highlight Falmouth seafood and Cornish produce. The Greenbank was soon awarded two AA rosettes and the re-opening of the famous Working Boat pub soon followed, which delighted local residents and visitors alike.
Please note: On special occasions and for tables of 10 people or more, we require a £10 deposit per person. This is refundable until 48 hours before your visit. Please call 01326 312440 to book.

"If there’s a place to dive into local fish and seafood, this is it. Executive chef Nick Hodges is a Cornishman through and through, and consequently leverages the area’s natural larder to maximum effect."
"A previous haunt of salty sea dogs and weary wanderers, The Greenbank has watched over Falmouth’s historic harbour for almost 400 years. And while its guests are now nomadic weekenders instead of weathered captains, Cornwall’s fleet of fishermen are still honoured in a menu swimming with the latest catch."
"The place to be on a Saturday night in Falmouth. The team are simply the loveliest people. All local, all smiling, all giving you the impression they genuinely love being there — it makes such a difference to the experience."
