UPDATED 22nd MARCH 2020: It is with heavy hearts that The Greenbank will be temporarily closed for an initial period of three months. Safeguarding our team, guests, the local community, and our NHS has always been our number one priority, so after closing our food and beverage operations on 18th March, we feel that the time has now come to fully batten down the hatches. It is our duty to be part of the nationwide solution to stop the spread of Covid-19 and to protect each other. We will constantly review the situation and follow the UK government guidelines as they are announced over the coming weeks. Whilst we cannot confirm when the hotel will re-open, our reception team will be monitoring emails, but this could take up to 7 days for a response so please bear with us. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss any bookings. Our full statement can be read here.
Seas the day at The Working Boat, a proper Falmouth pub on the waterfront where you can sink a few on Cornish time whilst admiring the view across the harbour.
We are open daily from 10am until late. Expect over fifteen beers and ciders on tap to choose from, including our own very Working Boat brew. And when you’re hungry there’s no better place to be. Jam-packed days mean hearty appetites, so tuck into proper pub food and generous portions. Browse our seasonal menu here.
The Working Boat is family-friendly and four-legged friends are welcome too! Your canine companions can snack on our complimentary treats behind the bar. And the Greenbank beach is the idyllic spot for a swift coastal stroll and paddle after visiting us.
Travelling by boat? Our private pontoons are free for our valued patrons to use, so we welcome you to moor up and join us for a jar or bite to eat.
View our full pub menu here or call us on 01326 314283 if you have any questions. We hope to see you soon!
"I was in heaven in The Working Boat with a rum nightcap and a pair of binoculars in hand."
TripAdvisor review, 2018
“The Working Boat pub is a Falmouth institution – a lively local, proud of its nautical roots.”
"A carefully constructed maritime tangle of storm lights, driftwood and rope now knot together its smart wooden tables and leather upholstery. The menu ticks all the traditional pub grub boxes: burgers, steaks and fishy classics, including fish pie, haddock and chips and crab sandwiches. On Sundays it also serves epic roasts all day."
