Celebrate bonfire night with this campfire cocktail Recipe

Warm yourself up this bonfire night with our Head of Mixology Holly’s warming campfire cocktail recipe. Savour the delicious flavours of whisky, chocolate and marshmallow…



  • 10ml of your favourite peated whisky – Holly’s whisky of choice is Talisker Storm
  • 40ml Rye whisky
  • 20ml dark chocolate syrup
  • 3 dashes of walnut bitters
  • Toasted marshmallow garnish


  1. Take a rocks glass and add 10ml of your favourite peated whisky
  2. Swirl the whisky as if you are rinsing the glass so you create an even coating
  3. Then pour the rye whisky, dark chocolate syrup and black walnut bitters into this same glass
  4. Take a large ice cube and place in the glass as well
  5. Stir all your ingredients with a bar spoon for 15 seconds until the drink is well chilled
  6. Finally, garnish with toasted marshmallows on a cocktail skewer
  7. Then sit back, relax, and enjoy – preferably in front of a toasty fire
