Paddle board yoga sunrise and sunset sessions

Swap your yoga mat for a paddle board…

Gylly Adventures now offer stand up paddle board (SUP) yoga sessions for our guests to try. Every Friday evening at 7pm and every Saturday morning at 7am, our hour-long yoga sessions will run. You can book by calling Andrew on 07341 890495.

About SUP Yoga:

Stand up paddle boarding has Hawaiian roots and has only recently been combined with yoga. This hybrid water activity is the perfect way to challenge your core by adding more levels of balance and movement as you immerse yourself in nature. Yoga on the water brings a whole new dimension to your  practice and engaging with the elements is far more fulfilling than a sweaty yoga studio.

SUP yoga can be whatever you want it to be – whether you’re looking for quiet meditation or a tough workout with the backdrop of Falmouth harbour as the sun sets or rises.

About your instructor:

Gylly Adventures have collaborated with Yoga with Lauren – a highly experienced yoga instructor and paddle board enthusiast. Lauren is a Vinyasa Yoga teacher, offering dynamic flow classes with a blissful restorative element. Our SUP yoga is aimed at all levels and Lauren will always offer alternative poses suitable for your level of experience.

Sup Yoga Prices:

One class: £15
Block of three classes: £42
Block of five classes: £60
Block of ten classes: £100

If you buy a block of sessions they can be used any time, within the summer season (which will end in September.)

You will need to bring:

  • Yoga outfit or loose clothing you don’t mind getting wet!
  • Towel
  • Flip flops (it is a rocky entrance to the water so footwear to protect your feet is useful)
  • Water bottle
  • Spare set of clothes
  • Money for The Working Boat afterwards – yoga class participants get a 10% discount card
  • Wetsuits can be hired for an additional £5 per person

Please note all sessions must be booked over the phone. For more information or to book, please call Andrew on 07341 890495.

Age restrictions: Anyone below the age of 18 must have a parent or appropriate guardian present (supervising on the beach nearby is fine) or taking part. The minimum age limit is 14 years old.
