Tristan & Yseult has been hailed as “a triumph” and “breathtaking in every respect”. One not to miss.

Where: 55 minutes from The Greenbank

For three days each year, the showground is transformed into a living town. Apart from the livestock judging, there is the famous flower tent and over a thousand trade stands to browse. The main ring offers a full programme of entertainment and you’ll find marquees dedicated to rare animal breeds, birds and bees. And if that’s not enough there will also be a dog show, steam fair, live music, delicious food and crafts.

Where: From our pontoons

Gylly Adventures now offer stand up paddle board yoga sessions straight from our pontoons. Every Friday at 6.30pm and every Saturday at 7.30am, our hour-long sessions will run. SUP yoga can be whatever you want it to be – whether you’re looking for quiet meditation or a tough workout with the backdrop of Falmouth harbour as the sun sets or rises.

FROM 15th JUNE: Miracle Theatre: The Third Policeman

Where: open air locations around Cornwall

This summer, Miracle ventures into a world somewhere between Alice in Wonderland and the Marx Brothers, where the earth is not round but sausage-shaped, where eccentric policemen fall in love with bicycles and you can visit eternity via a rickety lift. With dates all across Cornwall, check their website to find a show near you.

Where: all around Falmouth

Music has always been an important part of Cornwall’s culture. This festival provides a platform where that heritage comes alive, with free performances by dozens of groups across the world. Raising money for the RNLI, it is the perfect way to soak up the true atmosphere of Falmouth’s seafaring past. The Working Boat is an official venue this year and will partake in this honoured tradition of drink and song. – view our performance programme here. We’ll raise a glass to that!

Don’t miss the Parade of Sail and Power, where the boats sail out into Carrick Roads, making a magnificent spectacle.
