The Poly Theatre is part of the rustic charm and will be screening local shorts and renowned classics for three days as a pop-up event, in Falmouth’s quaint and inviting theatre. If this whets your artistic appetite, the festival winners will be shown in a larger cinema, in the young and vibrant town of Newquay.

Where: 20 minute drive from The Greenbank

Nothing heralds the beginning of the festive season quite like this magical midwinter lantern festival. Admire giant handmade lanterns as they are carefully carried through the streets in a dazzling procession, then warm up with a hot toddy from one of Truro’s many shops or cafes.
