At The Water’s Edge we believe that a well-considered drinks list is a key part of the hotel experience. We have taken our time in sourcing and putting together a varied and interesting list to excite and surprise even the most experienced of palates. From local vodkas and infused gins to artisan vermouths and award-winning saké, we hope you will discover a new favourite drink to awaken your senses.

Also, every Friday from 5pm until close, enjoy two for £10 on selected cocktails. So gather your friends and join us for one or two…!

 

Our favourites

  • Greenbank ultimate G&T: A large serving of gin infused in-house with rosemary and orange. Served with Distillers Tonic and garnished with rosemary and orange, £8.95
  • Curio Cornish Cup and lemonade: A version of Pimm’s made using Cornish gin and fresh local ingredients blended with tea, £5.75
  • St Germain spritz: A French elderflower liqueur made with white elderflower blossoms from the French Alps, topped up with Prosecco and soda, £8.50
  • Chambord royal: A raspberry liqueur which was first produced in the Loire valley in the 1600s. Steeped in Cognac and honey and topped up with Grand Imperial, £8.50
  • Cremorne 1859 sloe gin with Fever-Tree lemon tonic: Using sloe berries from the blackthorn bush, Gentleman Badger’s Sloe Gin is a curiously classy beverage, £6.20
  • Cynar and soda: Bitter-sweet artichoke amaro served with soda and garnished with a lemon slice – simply refreshing, £5.00
  • Konishi Silver Ginjo Hiyashibori Saké: Sharing an aperitif? Why not try a traditional saké. To be drunk like wine, it has a soft and smooth finish, £49.00

  • Knightor White: A local vermouth made by Knightor winery in St Austell and wonderfully flavoursome, £5.20
  • Mancino Bianco Ambrato: Based on Trebbiano di Romagna wine and includes a healthy 37 botanicals, £5.20
  • Regal rogue wild rose: Marrying a dry shiraz rosé from Australia with the native illawara plums, rosella, strawberry gum, rhubarb and kina, £5.20
  • Regal rogue bold red: The red expression of Australian vermouth. Made with red shiraz and lots of native botanicals, £5.20
  • Carpano Antica formula: The first ever vermouth and highly sought-after. Made to an original recipe dating from 1786, £4.50
  • Noilly prat: The most classic white vermouth. From southern France, it is a divine addition to all cocktails, £3.50
