ASSISTANT BAR manager

Due to ever growing business levels, the time has come to add support to all layers of the teams in our bar operations. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to take on the role as Assistant Bar Manager in our Water’s Edge bar. Our Water’s Edge restaurant and bar is a renowned, buzzing, vibrant place to dwell; all day food and drinks, enticing cocktails and the finest seafood, all set in an elegant, refined yet relaxed atmosphere with drop-dead views across the water.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Going above and beyond for our guests, in-house residents and local visitors
  • Making sure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly, efficiently and effectively
  • Delivering rotas and training to other members of bar staff to ensure all of the team are offering an excellent service
  • Identifying up-selling opportunities, as well as building and maintaining customer profiles to deliver customer preferences during their stay
  • Being organised with stock management
  • Being highly skilled in table service and understanding when to approach guests for further sales
  • A knowledge of new and vibrant cocktails to include in an ever-changing competitive field of work
  • Having good barista skills

Restaurant Supervisor

Due to internal promotions, The Greenbank Hotel now require a restaurant supervisor. This is a full time role and involves taking the lead on service, coordinating a busy and high achieving team to ensure the best possible dining experience for all our guests. Our award winning restaurant has 90 covers and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 365 days per year to a wide range of diners, all of who must have their expectations fully met in our busy 61 bedroom, four star hotel.

A sense of humour is essential, as is a big smile, and a commitment to providing the highest standards of relaxed service. We want our hotel to be at the forefront of providing genuine hospitality so you’ll need to walk the walk – there is no place to hide in our team. head runner

The Water’s Edge restaurant is currently recruiting a head runner to run the pass on a daily basis. You will work closely with the front of house and kitchen teams and you will be the link between both to ensure a smooth running of the service. You will need to have good food knowledge as well as having a charisma and leadership skills. Previous chef experience appreciated but not essential. The role is full time on a permanent contract (40 hour, competitive salary.) Please click here to apply.


Housekeeper

Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred, although job training will be given. We are looking for somebody who is self-motivated and well presented with a good eye for detail and interpersonal skills. Duties include ensuring that our room standards exceeds our customers’ expectations, completing all allocated bedrooms within the time frame, and working closely with our Head Housekeeper and supervisors.
