We are currently recruiting a receptionist to join our front desk team. We are looking for someone ideally with one years’ experience (however full training will be given) – someone who can work on their own with good customer service skills, and who is confident, willing to learn, always happy to help, uses their own initiative and has a ‘can do’ attitude.
Responsibilities include: customer service (first point of call for our guests arriving at the hotel and during their stay), room reservations and enquiries, restaurant bookings, dealing with booking agents, handling cash and card transactions, cashing up, balancing reception tills, and booking spa appointments. The Water’s Edge restaurant is currently recruiting a head runner to run the pass on a daily basis. You will work closely with the front of house and kitchen teams and you will be the link between both to ensure a smooth running of the service. You will need to have good food knowledge as well as having a charisma and leadership skills. Previous chef experience appreciated but not essential. Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred, although job training will be given. We are looking for somebody who is self-motivated and well presented with a good eye for detail and interpersonal skills. Duties include ensuring that our room standards exceeds our customers’ expectations, completing all allocated bedrooms within the time frame, and working closely with our Head Housekeeper and supervisors.
